Heath Close House is a very impressive detached house in a superb location as Budleigh Salterton is part of the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site in East Devon and an Area of Outstanding Beauty. The accommodation has recently been refurbished to a high standard, creating an excellent choice for a combined family holiday, a weekend reunion of friends, or as an inspirational setting for a corporate get-together. Check Availability Location Budleigh Salterton is an unspoilt seaside town where the River Otter meets the sea, with a thriving high street full of individual and interesting shops. The beautiful pebble beach stretches for over a mile, and is fringed by the dramatic red cliffs which form part of the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site. Budleigh offers a wealth of things to do, whether you like to stroll along Marine Parade, drink coffee at the Longboat Café, watch for rare birds on the River Otter estuary or make use of local cycleways and riding school. The Accommodation The accommodation sleeps up to 14 guests (12 adults & 2 children) in six double bedrooms; five are en-suite and one has a luxury sofa bed which is ideal for two children who are under ten. Two of the en-suite rooms are on the ground floor in the beautifully refurbished cottage in the grounds. Ground Floor: - Impressive reception hallway with marble flooring.

- Galleried Landing. A bright spacious area with three windows to the front elevation.
First Floor: - The Devon Room. Large master bedroom with super king-sized bed, ample storage sofa and a large wall-mounted TV. En-suite wet room with fully tiled walls and large designer shower.
- The Cornwall Room. A tranquil double bedroom decorated in up-to-the-minute teal and brown colours. There is a comfortable king-sized bed and brand-new en-suite luxury shower room with double-width, powerful shower, basin and wc. The bed is made up with fine cotton bedlinen, hollowfibre pillows, duvet and an additional bedspread. There is a wall-mounted, flat-screen TV. A tea and coffee making tray is provided.
- The Somerset Room. A light and bright room decorated in delightful blue tones, with a comfortable double bed and brand-new en-suite luxury bathroom with bath, wet room style, powerful shower, basin and wc. There is a further modern basin set on a natural oak plinth in the corner of the bedroom. The bed is made up with fine cotton bedlinen, hollowfibre pillows, duvet and an additional bedspread. Built-in cupboards conceal a flat-screen TV and there is ample hanging space for clothes. A tea and coffee making tray is provided.
- The Budleigh Room. A brightly coloured double bedroom decorated in light blue and beige tones. The bed is made up with fine cotton bedlinen, hollowfibre pillows, duvet and an additional bedspread. Built-in cupboards and a flat-screen TV.
Cottage in the grounds: - The Wiltshire Room. A beautiful twin-bedded room, decorated in up-to-the-minute colours. There are two 3ft 6" luxurious single beds and an en-suite shower room. The beds are made up with fine cotton bedlinen, hollowfibre pillows, duvets and additional bedspreads. To add to your comfort, each bed is fitted with a sleepshaper toper. There is a wall-mounted flat-screen TV, a luxurious sofa bed and a kitchenette with microwave and fridge for your convenience. A tea and coffee making tray is provided.
- The Dorset Room. A fabulous double bedroom decorated in fine tones. The room boasts a super king-sized bed and en-suite shower room with double-width, powerful shower, basin, wc and state of the art underfloor heating. The bed is made up with fine cotton bedlinen, hollowfibre pillows, duvet and an additional bedspread. To add to your comfort, the bed is fitted with a sleepshaper mattress. There is also a flat-screen TV. A tea and coffee making tray is provided.
The Grounds The gardens and grounds are a real feature of Heath Close. The rear garden being most attractively laid out with an area of lawn screened by lovely mature shrubbery. The large paved terrace extends across the entire width of the property’s rear elevation which is ideal for evening get together’s over a glass of wine or the family barbecue and relax on the very comfortable garden furniture. | |
