Woodlands Farmhouse combines the heritage and charm of an historic old dairy farm with the style and chic of 21st Century living. It has seven bedrooms, (one of which is located on the ground floor and ideal for those who prefer not to use stairs) and sleeps 14 very comfortably.

The house was completely renovated and refurbished over two years using the finest craftsmen to restore features such as the inglenook fireplaces, old bread oven, original flagstones and large elm floorboards to name but a few. Whilst preserving the old, we have also added the style and comforts of 21st Century living, with luxuries such as the hot tub, cinema room, wet room showers and bespoke designer kitchen.

The Location

Former dairy farm set in 100 acres located down a quiet lane in the heart of the milk and cider producing region.  Nearest neighbour ¼ of a mile. Views of Glastonbury Tor.


The History

The first origins of the house date back to approximately 1631 when records show that the large estate that it sat in owned by Sir Dudley North was mortgaged. It has since been extended and adapted through the centuries to the present day, providing a somewhat more comfortable house today that would have originally existed!

The Accommodation

Sleeping up to 14 guests in a king bedroom on the ground floor and three king bedrooms and three twin rooms on the first floor.

For the more active, the games room, kids play area and Nintendo Wii should keep even the most restless entertained. Either way, we have designed the house to cater to everyone's needs, from young to old, modern chic to classic elegance, to provide you with a truly memorable experience.
