Somerset House

Somerset House graciously hosts up to 20 guests in nine exquisitely appointed bedrooms, three boasting en-suite facilities and two featuring single sofa-beds. Furthermore, guests have the delightful option of adding the enchanting Stable Flat, which comfortably accommodates an extra six guests across two bedrooms, subject to an additional charge.

Ground Floor

Hallway: A spacious expanse adorned with exquisite furnishings, enchanting illumination, and polished wooden floors.

Drawing Room: The room boasts two generous sofas, along with a spacious corner sofa, an elegant feature fireplace, a stylish drinks cabinet, a magnificent baby grand piano, and expansive floor-to-ceiling sash windows that offer stunning views of the surrounding grounds and the front of the house.

Library: The cosy living room boasts three exquisite sofas, a striking feature fireplace, a sleek coffee table, a state-of-the-art flat screen TV, an immersive Denon sound system, a stylish bookcase, and floor-to-ceiling sash windows that gracefully open onto the terrace and scenic grounds.

Dining Room: The elegant living room boasts a charming feature fireplace, a generously sized dining table accommodating 14 guests, and the flexibility to extend it for up to 23 guests. Adorned with a stylish cabinet, the room is bathed in natural light from the floor-to-ceiling sash windows, which offer delightful views of the surrounding grounds and the front of the house.

Breakfast Kitchen: This space offers ample storage capacity, along with a generous selection of crockery, glassware, and an ice bucket. Additionally, it features a spacious double sink, a convenient dishwasher, a reliable toaster, a stylish kettle, a top-notch coffee machine, and a dedicated drinks fridge.

Main Kitchen: A lavishly appointed kitchen featuring a state-of-the-art electric Aga (5-door with 2 hobs), an exquisite electric oven, an elegant induction hob, a spacious sink, a generous large fridge/freezer, a comfortable sofa, and a striking central island accompanied by six stylish bar stools.

Washroom: With WC and washbasin.

A small flight of stairs leads you down to the additional reception spaces.

Media Room: In the gaming area, you'll find a selection of three luxurious reclining gaming chairs, a cosy beanbag, stylish sofas, a plush armchair, a generously sized projector screen, an X-Box console, a top-notch Blu-Ray player, and an immersive Denon sound system.

Boot Room: Adjacent to the rear entrance lies a generously appointed area, complete with ample storage and hanging provisions, a comfortable bench, and an ornate fireplace for added aesthetic allure.

Study: In the office, adorned with a sleek desk, a plush office chair, and a secure gun cabinet, the atmosphere exudes sophistication and security.

Utility Room: With ample hanging space, a well-equipped sink, generous storage space, a convenient iron and ironing board, along with the added convenience of two washing machines and a tumble dryer.

Gym: In our fitness facility, we offer a diverse range of equipment to enhance your workout experience, including a rowing machine, running machine, exercise bike, fitness trampoline, cross trainer, pinch bag, weights, ab cruncher, exercise balls, power plate, and a multi-gym.

Karaoke Bar: a warm and inviting space, featuring comfortable stools, plush sofas, and a state-of-the-art karaoke machine.

Pantry: With additional fridges and freezers. 

Back Kitchen: This fully furnished space boasts an array of modern amenities, including an electric oven, sleek induction hob, convenient sink, efficient microwave, and ample storage capacity.

Games Room: This versatile room features a captivating table tennis table, a basketball hoop with accompanying balls, a dart board accompanied by darts. Additionally, it can be transformed into a splendid function room for grand festivities (extra charges apply).

Grounds

Nestled within 28 picturesque acres, this enchanting property boasts a myriad of captivating features. A private gated drive leads to the breathtaking gardens, where lush orchards, serene paddocks, and meticulously manicured grounds unfold. A spacious terrace awaits, adorned with a graceful canopy and offering plush seating arrangements and a table for 12 guests, complemented by additional seating for 8 more. The ambience is enhanced by a soothing water fountain, while culinary delights await with a built-in BBQ and pizza oven. Sports enthusiasts will revel in the all-weather tennis court and a full-size football pitch with goals. For aquatic pleasures, a gated outdoor solar heated swimming pool awaits, open from May to September (availability this year: 7th April 2023 to 2nd October 2023), complete with 6 sunbeds and 2 double daybeds. Younger guests will be captivated by the newly renovated tree house, featuring a slide and swings, while a walled garden and vegetable garden add to the enchantment. And for those seeking aerial arrivals, a helicopter landing pad awaits.

First Floor

Royal Russet Bedroom: This luxurious room boasts a spacious super king-size bed, a comfortable sofa and chaise lounge, a sleek flat screen TV, a cosy fireplace, and breathtaking views of the gardens and front of the house. Additionally, it features an exquisite en-suite bathroom equipped with a indulgent free-standing bath, two elegant washbasins, a refreshing walk-in shower, and convenient built-in wardrobes.

Black Apple Bedroom: The cosy room features a spacious king-size bed, a comfortable armchair, an elegant decorative fireplace, a functional chest of drawers, and a sizable wardrobe. Its doors open onto a private balcony adorned with a charming table and chairs, offering breathtaking views of the front of the house.

Ashton Bitter Bedroom: The room features luxurious amenities, including a spacious super king-size bed, a comfortable chaise lounge, and ample built-in wardrobes. Its prime location offers captivating views of the front of the house, while the en-suite bathroom boasts a relaxing bath, a stylish washbasin, and a convenient walk-in shower.

Somerset Red Bedroom: A spacious suite with a luxurious super king-size bed, two additional single sofa-beds (available for a supplementary fee), a convenient wardrobe, and picturesque garden views.

Washroom: With WC and washbasin.

Family Bathroom: With bath, washbasin and walk-in shower.

Golden Knob Bedroom: With its luxurious super king-size bed, spacious wardrobe, charming decorative fireplace, and breathtaking views of the grounds, this room offers a tranquil retreat. Additionally, it boasts an en-suite bathroom complete with a relaxing bath, elegant washbasin, and a refreshing walk-in shower. Notably, there is also an inter-connecting door with bedroom 7, providing convenient access between the two spaces.

Hoary Morning Bedroom: This cosy room features a spacious super-king-size bed that can be converted into twin beds, a comfortable armchair, a convenient built-in wardrobe, and an elegant decorative fireplace. Additionally, it offers an interconnecting door to bedroom 5, which can be accessed via a charming small flight of stairs.

Family Bathroom: With a free-standing bath with shower attachment, washbasin and a walk-in shower.

Shoreditch White Bedroom: A luxurious setting featuring a spacious super king-size bed, a conveniently built-in wardrobe, and breathtaking views overlooking the stables.

Dabinett Bedroom: The spacious room features a luxurious king-size bed, a well-appointed wardrobe, and breathtaking views overlooking the enchanting stables.

Stable Flat (please note this is not included within the price of Somerset House)

The Stable Flat can accommodate 4-6 guests in two bedrooms and is an extra £700 for the weekend or the mid-week or an extra £1,200 for the week

Upon entering through the entrance door, you are immediately greeted by a spacious ground floor shower room adorned with a well-appointed cabinet and an abundance of conveniently placed hooks for effortlessly hanging your coats.

First Floor

Kitchen/Living/Dining Room: The kitchen boasts a comprehensive array of modern appliances including an electric oven, sleek induction hob, efficient dishwasher, spacious fridge, handy toaster, and convenient kettle. In addition, it features a charming breakfast bar furnished with two comfortable stools, a welcoming dining area with ample seating for six guests, a generous L-shaped sofa for relaxation, a flat screen TV for entertainment, a cozy chaise lounge for added comfort, a stylish coffee table, and a cosy log burner.

Bedroom 1: The room features a luxurious super king-size bed that can be easily converted into twin beds, accompanied by elegant bedside tables adorned with stylish lamps. A cosy chair adds a touch of comfort, while internal cupboards provide convenient storage space.

Family Bathroom: With a bath, washbasin and WC.

Bedroom 2: The cosy room features a comfortable double bed adorned with stylish bedside tables and elegant lamps, accompanied by a rustic wooden clothes rail and rack.

There are 2 z-beds for the additional 2 guests which can go into the bedrooms or in the living room.
